Description
Entirely hand-painted thangka of Manjushri by masters trained in Buddhist traditional painting at the Norbulingka Institute in Dharamshala. They respond to traditional artistic canons and are inspired by ancient thangkas carefully preserved in Tibetan monasteries and serving as a reference. This thangka represents Manjushri. It represents one of the elements necessary to achieve enlightenment: intelligence. The other three major bodhisattvas represent compassion (Avalokitesvara), practice (Samantabhadra), the vow (Ksitigarbha). The importance of Manjushree is sometimes expressed as the master of the others, then it represents the spiritual realization at the highest level.

The silver (metal) used in Nepal is always composed of an amalgam and is most often plated on metal parts. Most of the stores that sell 925 sterling silver products from Nepal are fraudulent!
Likewise, some stones considered semi-precious from Nepal or India are actually stones reconstituted from powder of semi-precious stones, such as turquoise or coral. Nevertheless, they seem to retain the properties of the original stones. In the case where reconstituted stones are used, we always specify it in the specifcation sheeet.
