Under the “European Consumer Protection Act” for sale of consumer goods, the consumer has a number of legal rights. Each item is subject to a legal warranty from the date of purchase (or delivery) by the first owner. No commercial warranty infringes these rights.
In accordance with the European legislation, TDS provides a 2-year warranty on all products in its catalog from the date of delivery of the product.
7.2-Application of the Guarantee
To use the guarantee, the customer must be able to present his receipt as proof of purchase because to determine the warranty period, TDS verifies the billing date and the date of the first announcement of the defect in writing and by registered mail.In TDS context, an e-mail addressed to our customer service (see CONDITIONS OF SALE) will be also accepted as being motivated in writing.
The warranty (commercial and/or legal) never applies to defects resulting from accidents, negligence, falls, abnormal or abusive use, use in opposition to the purposes for which the product was designed, non-respect of instructions or manual, adaptations or changes to the article, rough use and poor maintenance. It is also not applicable on items that have a shorter life, or on parts that are subject to normal wear such as incense, etc. No warranty is recognized for items not purchased at TDS.
The guarantee is also non-transferable to third-parties.
Under the guarantee, the maximum that can be recovered via TDS is either repair, replacement or reimbursement of the delivered goods, with the exception of all consequential and/or indirect damages.
